Thinking of Upgrading Your Screen (#1697)
Thinking of upgrading your screen to 144Hz, 240Hz, QHD, or even 4K?
It sounds exciting—but it’s not always plug-and-play.
⚠️ Same connector ≠ guaranteed compatibility
BIOS locks, EDID mismatches, GPU limits, or voltage differences can lead to boot failure, no display, or partial functionality.
At Bliss Computers, we help by:
- Matching connectors (if parts are in stock)
- Sharing known upgrade history
- Emailing you a status summary before purchase
But remember:
- We don’t offer BIOS tweaks or GPU validation
- No returns after install—all upgrades are at your own risk
- You must provide your original screen part number, the upgrade part number, and your machine’s serial/model number.
Only experienced users should attempt non-standard display upgrades.
